The Giant’s Causeway (EL-L-GC02)

The Giant’s Causeway on a spring day.
The Giant’s Causeway is Northern Ireland’s most popular tourist attraction. The area is famous for it’s hexagonal rock formations, the result of an ancient volcanic eruption. The 40,000 strong rock formation starts in the cliffs and continues under the sea. Legend has it that the Irish warrior Finn McCool built the causeway to walk to Scotland to fight his Scottish counterpart Benandonner.
