Niagara Falls are large waterfalls located on the Niagara River, on the border between Canada and the USA. There are two main waterfalls, the American Falls on the USA side, and the larger Horseshoe falls on the Canadian side.

Due to the power of the water, the falls are constantly eroding. To slow this process, the local authorities acually reduce the flow of water over the falls at night time.

Toronto’s CN Tower was opened in 1976, at that time becoming the World’s Tallest Building, standing at over 550 metres tall (over 1800 feet). It held the record for 30 years until recently surpassed by Burj Dubai. The CN Tower attracts over two million visitors each year. As well as being a major tourist attraction, it is also used as a communications tower (similar to the smaller Eiffel Tower in Paris).
