The Mistle Thrush (Turdus viscivorus) is a common thrush found in most parts of the UK. It is a close relative to the smaller Song Thrush, with very similar markings. Mistle thrushes have much more rounded spots on their bellies than Song Thrushes, making this a good method of distinguishing between the two similar species.
