The Carrion Crow (Corvus corone) is one of the UK's most intelligent species.  It is well known but often confused with other species such as Rooks & Jackdaws due to similarities in colour and stature.  Carrion Crows are known to take the eggs and chicks of other birds, as well as feeding on the remains of dead animals.
