Eiffel Tower at Sunset (EL-C-ET01)
The Eiffel Tower (la Tour Eiffel) is one of the world’s most instantly recognisable structures, indeed often used as a symbol of France. It is the tallest building in Paris, with building being completed in 1889, when it became the world’s tallest building (holding the title until 1930′s Chrysler Building in New York overtook it). It stands at 1,063 ft (325m). As well as being the most visited tourist attraction on Earth, the Eiffel tower has been used for radio transmissions since the beginning of the 20th century.
