Snow Crocuses are aptly named due to being one of the earliest spring flowers, often while snow is still on the ground. They are quite a small flower, growing normally only a few inches in height. Other varieties of crocus bloom in autumn. Squirrels seem quite fond of these little flowers both before they bloom and after, evidence of which can be seen in our Squirrel gallery.
